Hi Team, As of now am using all the 3 server roles (MBX, HT, CAS) are installed in single server for my testing environment.so i was used. all the below command in sigle serers. setup.com /pl setup.com /prepareschema setup.com /prepareAD setup.com /preparedomain Now am planning to implement all the 3 servers roles in three different servers. so what is required for each server.currently i have only one domain What swicth is required while installing MBX server? What swicth is required while installing HT server? What swicth is required while installing CAS server? or i thin ksetup.com /prepareschema, setup.com /prepareAD should run in ROOT DOMAIN CONTROLLER. and setup.com /preparedomain should run all the member servers where exchnage will install... Please clarify

Those switches arent role specific: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288907(EXCHG.80).aspx Preparing Active Directory for Exchange 2007 Be sure you run them using the correct permissions and in the correct AD site and domain per the article. Setup /PrepareAllDomains can be run from the root and cover all the domains.
